Video: Observer Expectancy Effect
Chegg (the platform I use to offer tutoring in psychology, statistics, etc.) has asked some tutors to help create videos that demonstrate how we would discuss a topic in a lesson. As I help to create videos as part of this initiative, I'll cross-post them here as a sort of informal vlog post. In this video I discuss the observer expectancy effect, which has a major effect on all of us throughout our daily lives and needs to be taken into account for psychology research.
My topics for these videos will be coming from a predefined list. However, if this format turns out to be popular then I'm open to doing separate videos addressing other topics. If there's a topic you'd be interested in seeing via a vlog post, let me know in the comments! I'm also happy to address any comments/questions related to the video above.
